NO. 25 HUSKERS DEFEAT HOOSIERS, 78-73

No. 25 Nebraska earned a 78-73 victory over Indiana on Thursday night at Pinnacle Bank Arena, improving to 14-2 overall and 3-2 in Big Ten play. Indiana fell to 11-6 on the season and 0-5 in the conference.

Sophomore guard Britt Prince led the Huskers with 20 points, scoring 11 in the fourth quarter to help secure the win. She also added a game-high seven assists with just one turnover. Junior Jessica Petrie contributed 18 points and seven rebounds, including seven key points in the final period. Junior guard Logan Nissley added 11 points, hitting a crucial three-pointer late in the game.

Nebraska pulled ahead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter to hold off the Hoosiers and seal the conference victory.
