
Bellevue University Unveils New Field House
On April 23, Bellevue University celebrated the grand opening of its brand-new 72,000+ square foot Field House with a community event featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, speeches from President Mary Hawkins and other dignitaries, and a special court unveiling by student athletes and mascot Brutus.
Guests toured the modern facility and enjoyed a volleyball scrimmage between the Bellevue Bruins and Iowa Western Community College.
President Hawkins described the Field House as a long-awaited addition that will benefit students, athletes, and the broader Bellevue community, reinforcing the university’s mission to support student success and local engagement.
