
Nebraska Men’s Basketball Earns NABC Team Academic Excellence Award
The Nebraska men’s basketball program was honored with the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2024–25 academic year, recognizing teams with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This marks the second time in three years the Huskers have received this award.
11 players achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better in 2024–25.
Nebraska was one of seven Big Ten teams recognized.
Six Huskers were named to the NABC Honors Court (3.2+ GPA for juniors, seniors, and grad students):
Rienk Mast (4-time honoree)
Rollie Worster (3-time honoree, including time at Utah)
Henry Burt, Jeffrey Grace III, Sam Hoiberg, Cale Jacobsen (2-time honorees)
Additionally, Nebraska tied a school record with seven Academic All-Big Ten selections, and Mast and Hoiberg were named Big Ten Distinguished Scholars.
