YORK SOCCER PLAYER ANTONIO GORGIO RECEIVES GRANT FROM NGF
The Nebraska Greats Foundation is an organization dedicated to helping former and current college athletes from any of Nebraska’s four year colleges and universities. The NGF is pleased to announce a grant to Antonio Giorgio for assistance with medical needs.
Antonio recently graduated from York University where he lettered in soccer. While at York, Antonio played in seven games and played 113 minutes. Unfortunately, Antonio suffered a knee injury leaving him with numerous medical bills. Antonio reached out to the NGF for help with the medical expenses he incurred while recovering from his injury.
Antonio recently moved to Nashville Tennessee and hopes to start a new life there.
The Nebraska Greats Foundation remains committed to extending support to former and current athletes like Antonio, who have contributed significantly to Nebraska's rich sporting history.
Since inception, Nebraska Greats Foundation has awarded over $800,000 in grants to help former letter-winners when they needed the most help.
The NGF is a reflection of the core values of Nebraskans.
